Volunteer / Charity Worker
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our charity and community-outreach team as a Volunteer. Whether you can give a few hours a week or a regular commitment, you will help us serve the vulnerable and those in need — through food support, community events, visitation, administration and practical acts of kindness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support food banks, community meals and clothing or essentials distribution.
- Assist with charity events, fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Help with visitation and befriending of the elderly, sick and isolated.
- Provide practical, administrative or hospitality support as needed.
- Represent the church and charity warmly and professionally in the community.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A caring, reliable and compassionate attitude.
- Willingness to serve and work as part of a team.
- No formal qualifications required — full induction and support provided.
- Enhanced DBS check required for roles involving vulnerable groups.
- Flexibility and a positive, can-do spirit.
