Church Audio & Sound Technician
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Audio & Sound Technician to deliver excellent sound for all our services, events and broadcasts. You will operate and maintain our audio systems, ensuring clear, high-quality sound that enhances worship and communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operate and manage sound desks, microphones, monitors and PA systems.
- Deliver clear, balanced audio for live services, events and recordings.
- Support live-streaming and audio for online broadcasts.
- Maintain, test and troubleshoot all audio equipment; report faults and needs.
- Train and support volunteer sound-team members.
- Manage sound checks and rehearsals with the worship and media teams.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience operating live sound / audio equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mixing desks, microphones, PA systems and signal flow.
- Understanding of live-streaming audio a strong advantage.
- Reliable, detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Available Sundays, midweek services and special events.
