Children’s Fellowship Leader (Ordained Pastor)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an ordained pastor with a heart for young people to lead our Children’s Fellowship. You will create a safe, fun and Christ-centred environment where children encounter God, grow in faith and develop godly character.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the children’s ministry, services and midweek programmes.
• Plan age-appropriate, engaging Bible teaching, worship and activities.
• Recruit, train, supervise and safeguard a team of children’s workers.
• Champion safeguarding best practice and ensure full compliance at all times.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and families.
• Organise holiday clubs, outings and special children’s events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Ordained pastor with a genuine calling to children’s ministry.
• Experience leading children’s or family ministry.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding — enhanced DBS check required.
• Creative, energetic and excellent with children and parents.
• Strong organisational and team-leadership skills.
• Available Sundays, midweek and during school holidays.
