Field Evangelist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and Spirit-led Field Evangelist to lead our outreach and soul-winning efforts across the local community and beyond. The successful candidate will take the message of the Gospel into homes, streets, hospitals, campuses and public spaces, planting seeds of faith and connecting new believers with the life of the church.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, lead and coordinate street, door-to-door and community evangelism campaigns.
• Follow up with new contacts and integrate new believers into church life and discipleship classes.
• Organise crusades, open-air meetings and special outreach events.
• Build relationships with local schools, care homes, hospitals and community groups for outreach access.
• Train, mentor and mobilise volunteers and evangelism teams.
• Keep accurate records of outreach activity and report regularly to the pastoral leadership.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• A mature, practising Christian with a clear calling to evangelism.
• Proven experience in outreach, mission or evangelistic ministry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident public speaker.
• Sound knowledge of Scripture and sound doctrine.
• Self-motivated, well organised and able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence desirable; willingness to travel across the region.
